Refund policy
RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
At SKIM RC Racing, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order in line with UK consumer law.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Items must be returned in their original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:
- Custom-painted bodyshells
- Personalised or made-to-order items
- Items that have been used or damaged after delivery
Due to the nature of custom work, all custom orders are final sale unless faulty.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the issue
We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty.
5. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you require a different item, please:
- Return the original item (if eligible)
- Place a new order
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
Once a custom paint order has begun, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
